Experience
I have taught private piano lessons for 15 years ranging from the age of 5 to older adults. I have also taught group beginner piano lesson camps to elementary age children. I love being able to enable people to enjoy playing music whether young or old. I have studied classical piano with UNA's Louise McCoy and jazz piano with UVR's David Escleck. I have most recently been performing as pianist/accordionist for Busch Gardens Williamsburg's show Celtic Fyre which has been rated as #1 Best Amusement Park Entertainment by USA Today's 2015 Reader Choice Awards.

When I am not performing or instructing music, I am very much into wellness whether it be running on trails, strength training, dancing, taking or teaching yoga. I am certified as a personal trainer and yoga instructor so I like to develop my knowledge on these subjects. My passion is to get to the core of the why and what of a person's goal so that whether it be learning music or setting a physical goal in personal training the action and focus comes from the heart of the person. I have seen that working from this emphasis only helps everyone enjoy the learning process and stay on the path of developing skills once thought out of reach! I love to be a part of the learning/ growing/ transformation process by constantly working on improving myself and being a hand along the way for others.
